Shipping costs

Shipping companies or delivery services quickly drive up the price of an aquarium. No question about it.
Some people overdo it, bumping into things they shouldn't, using duck feathers for packaging, or employing external service providers for packaging, which unnecessarily increases shipping costs.

Not with us; exorbitant transport costs should not be an argument against an aquarium!

My goal for 2026:
 At least 50% of the aquariums ordered;
Whether nano or XXL,
to deliver using our own transport solutions.

Advantages:

-No appointment stress: flexible appointment scheduling (also in the evening or on weekends)
-1x baby carrier included
-less packaging waste
-low shipping / transport costs

Shipping costs are optimized to the extent that for multiple quantities (1 piece, 2 pieces, 3 pieces and more than 6 pieces) of an aquarium, A shipping discount has been set up.
 The system automatically adjusts the shipping costs at checkout.

Additionally, the "Personal Delivery" option is available at checkout for distances up to 200km to the destination and is usually significantly cheaper than the standard shipping rate, especially for multiple aquariums of different sizes.
 Unfortunately, the shop system does not allow for a larger radius. Therefore, this option remains limited to 200km (for now). Hopefully, Shopify will eventually extend this limit so we can offer even cheaper prices.
