The biopower 200 uses several coordinated filtration stages and combines the compact design of an internal filter with a filter layout based on the external-filter principle. Water is guided upwards through the filtration stages from below; the filter cartridge, biological filter baskets and filter pad provide graduated mechanical-biological filtration.

The closed filter baskets are modular and can be separated or expanded individually using the Easy-Klick system. The pump head can be swivelled, the output is adjustable and the Power Diffusor provides additional oxygen supply.
