AQUAEL PAT MINI – a miniature turbine filter for small freshwater aquariums. This device consists of a tiny head and a carefully selected filter sponge. Thanks to innovative design solutions, the head has a maximum capacity of up to 400 l/h, which is comparable to a typical medium-sized turbine aquarium filter. And all this with a power consumption of no more than 4 W.
- Pumping capacity of 400 liters per hour
- 4 watts power consumption
- including nozzle for oxygen enrichment
- coarse filter sponge (1 piece) for long standing times
- also suitable as a unit for soil filters
- Adjustable flow
- Dimensions: 13.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm
The filter also has a directional nozzle that allows you to limit the water flow in the aquarium, for example, by directing it towards the tank wall. It was also equipped with an aeration tube connected to the outlet nozzle, enabling effective and efficient oxygenation of the water in the tank.
The sponge in the PAT MINI filter is extremely effective at mechanically filtration in the aquarium, trapping even the smallest visible impurities from the water. Furthermore, it provides an ideal environment for the colonization of beneficial nitrifying bacteria that oxidize ammonia and nitrates, which are toxic to fish. Maintaining the sponge is very simple and takes only a few seconds. This ensures continuous filter operation and guarantees that the inhabitants of your aquarium swim in crystal-clear, toxin-free water.
Installation of the device is very easy thanks to the handle with strong suction cups and a functional hanger that allows the filter to be attached to the edge of the aquarium glass. The PAT MINI filter can be used with the AQUAEL sprinkler system and the AQUAEL MINI UV water sterilizer. Replacement sponge cartridges are available in standard and also in CARBOMAX (saturated with activated carbon to remove chemical impurities and discoloration from water) and PHOSMAX (to remove phosphate from water, effectively reducing algae growth) versions.
