Aquael CarboMax Plus – Activated carbon filter medium

Activated carbon in dust-free granular or pellet format, specially developed for chemical filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums.

• Placement: Place directly into the filter medium compartment (filter basket, filter chamber) or into a mesh/filter bag.
  
• Service life: Replace approximately every 4 weeks , as the activated carbon becomes saturated over time and its adsorption capacity decreases.
  
• Recommended amount: Guideline depending on pool size – approximately 1 liter of CarboMax Plus for approximately 150–200 liters of water (depending on the load)
  

CarboMax Plus removes chlorine, heavy metals, residues of medications and chemicals, as well as other unwanted toxic compounds.
Ideal after treatments with medication, in case of discolored water (e.g. by wood or leaves) or when the water appears yellowish.
