EHEIM MECH is a specially shaped, hard filter medium for mechanical pre-filtration in aquariums.
The hollow tubes reliably trap coarse dirt particles before the water reaches the subsequent biological filter media. This relieves the burden on these media, extends the filter's service life, and stabilizes water quality.
