With the EHEIM feedingSTATION, you can serve your fish meals underwater, precisely at a fixed location. This has advantages. 

When you feed your fish, the food usually floats on the water's surface. There, it disperses uncontrollably. What isn't found and eaten immediately disappears into the decorations or the filter sump. There, it gradually decomposes and pollutes the water.

The EHEIM feedingSTATION is different: Here, the food is dispensed directly underwater from the feeding cylinder. The fish are already expecting it. It hardly drifts away. Everything is eaten, and the water stays cleaner for longer.

Another advantage is that you can observe and control all the fish at the feeding station.
