The EHEIM classic VARIO+e 250 is the smart version of the classic external filter, which has proven itself millions of times over.

It combines the robust, simple technology of the classic series with modern electronics:
The pump is controlled wirelessly via WLAN using a smartphone, tablet or PC/Mac.
This allows you to conveniently adjust the performance to the number of fish, the amount of food or the time of day – ideal for aquariums of approximately 50–250 liters.

The integrated BLDC pump (brushless DC motor) operates particularly quietly, with minimal vibration, and is energy-efficient. The pump output is continuously adjustable, and various operating modes are available (e.g., manual continuous operation or pulse mode). Depending on the setting, power consumption is only approximately 1.7–9.8 watts – perfect for consistently economical operation.

As part of the EHEIM Digital family, the classic VARIO+e 250 can be linked to other EHEIM devices. For example, the pump output can be automatically reduced during feeding with the autofeeder+ or adjusted to the day/night rhythm with the LEDcontrol+e. An integrated maintenance indicator calculates when the next cleaning is due and can send a reminder via email – ensuring consistently stable water parameters and greater operational reliability.

The filter comes complete with filter media (filter sponges, filter fleece, activated carbon fleece), tubing, intake and outlet pipes, and installation accessories, and is suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Unpack, connect, configure via app – and you're done filtration.
